So a seperate blog for my Dwarfs to keep things clear. Only a few weeks before we can all 'buy' our first models, and so I guess I'll have to start thinking about what I want to paint in January. My first idea were Hammerers, but 10 Hammerers are slightly more expensive than 30 pounds, so I'll start cheap in January so I can start those Hammerers in February. And what's better than start on a war machine to start a dwarf army. So January: - Cannon (£15.50)
- Engineer (£8.20)
Total January: £23.70 Amount of spare £: £6.30 ... Terrain piece January: a piece of Impassable terrain (rock formation)

I think it will add to the army, and of course blend in. But on the other hand some people say it`s just not done, i come along and ask "Why not".
Go for it mate, not like it`ll take you weeks.....lol

A little scenic base for a dwarf war machine with cannon balls, couple of lit torches and some barrels of grog? What's not to like!

You have to keep the target small. I'll keep the cannon as last. Will try to find a 40mmx40mm base and perhaps a 50mmx50mm base to give me a better idea of how the cannon may look on one of these.

Ith the direction Fantasy has been moving I think artillery getting bases is only a matter of time. See the Hellcannon whose Finecast version went on a (sizable) base. I'd definitely put the cannon on a base if I were you.

So here is how my Dwarf Tower currently looks: Yeah, very early stage, but it will get finished this month, so be patient, it will be finished sooner rather than later. ;-) It was also the first time I used my hot glue gun (see below). I didn't know if I really needed it, but I got it as a present and now I have used it: AWESOME ! A must for every one who builds terrain on a regular base. PVA glue, I laugh at you. :-p
