So last update I showed you guys the 3 sides that got Dwarfish details (so I still need to do the 3 other sides). Now I have added rocks to 3 sides (of which one is a side that also has the details). This as I want to create the illusion that the tower is carved out of a rocky outcrop. You can see a picture below. Still have to do some work on it, but the basic shape of the rocks is there.

I was going to say. This totally needs some candles. Looks pretty good, too.

So here's a close-up on the rocks as well a first pic of my sculpted 'bricks': Three sides (of 6) are now looking like this. I have started on the fourth side (the side of the door): As you can see the rocks next to the door still need to get their details sculpted. What left to do: - finishing the door side (rocks) - start on the two sides remaining (rocks and bricks) - start on the battlements (bricks and floor) - add some Dwarf symbols on the corners - make a base (out of mdf) - paint it and flock it

... What left to do: - finishing the door side (rocks): DONE- start on the two sides remaining (rocks and bricks): DONE- start on the battlements (bricks and floor): DONE
So basically, the tower is finished (buildingwise).- add some Dwarf shields and bits on the corners: will only get those next week (need to get to my mom's attick)- make a base out of mdf: will do this this week- paint it and flock it: will have to wait on the Dwarf bitsUpdate quote.

Some pics as proof: (same angle front and top shot - more angles when I get it painted) EDIT: still need to fill some gaps in the rocks by the way.

Cool stuff.
I may have missed it, but is this a single piece or are you going to do more terrain to go with it?

Cool stuff. I may have missed it, but is this a single piece or are you going to do more terrain to go with it? One each month. The following pieces will be less work though. I will be doing hills, pine forests, ...

So, nine days left after today, and I still need to paint that tower (but I knew I would only be able to start on that at the earliest this Sunday - still need some bits), and my Dwarfs and cannon are about 20% painted. I'm slowly getting there, but don't expect pics before next Friday. I'll need every day January has.

And hour, and minute, and second. Friday, 23:59:59 sounds like a good time to finish, doesn't it?
