Cheers! The most thorough answer I've ever gotten about doing snow! No problem mate. Maybe try it on an empthy base and let me know how it turned out. If it doesn't look like you expected I maybe can give even more specific tips to make it work. And by the way, thanks for all the positive comments guys! Glad you all like it.

That watchtower looks amazing. Really good work. I cannot help but notice the absence of Barry, though.

Tonight I have started on my February entry: Organ Gun. I may also be doing a Runesmith (15.50 + 8.20 = 23.70).
Scenery piece this month will be a Pine Forest.
Now will go to sleep as I'm sick the last couple of days.

Sorry to hear you're a bit under the weather, it's probably all that snow you've been mucking about with. Great job on the watch tower, proper 'squat' look to it, minor quibblette would be the door - can't help feeling that dwarves would plaster it in decorative ironwork reinforcements - and they wouldn't be difficult to knock up in painted cardboard (old church doors are good for referencing). It'd give you something to do 'til you're feeling up to lumberjacking

What do you guys think about the bases for the War machines? I made them out of mdf (4cm by 5cm).
Being metal models I thought they would be more than worth it as a precaution versus paint chipping.
