Recently several members of our club have bought into the Wild west dead Man's Hand game.
A basic skirmish game set in the Wild West with smallish gangs, partly card controlled action, with D20 and D10 dice etc.
Not a bad game at all and I'm getting an all girl gang (why not?) to be called the Liberty belles!
Anyway the club has bought two sets of MDF laser cut buildings to go with the game.
The basic set builds these buildings, with my mate for construction currently:
Fairly basic 4 1/2" boxes with a front board-walk attached. The set builds a bank, general store, saloon and sheriff's office together with a gallows. All one story buildings as you can see. Detailing etched into the outside and some furniture and detailing for the interiors.
We bought two sets so I could "modify" the second set to give us some variation and complete a small town.
Here's my efforts so far.
Jail - I took the basic bank interior with it's barred counter, with sheriff's office front plus brick walls all round and turned it into a 2 cell jail with sleeping platforms.
A second as yet un-named store, using the bank front and store bits inside
And the piece de resistance, a two storey Bordello, currently named The Lucky Garter, but could easily find itself renamed as The Mucky Garter or The Loose Garter!
I took the Sheriff's office base and Saloon front and the 1st floor saloon base with the bank front, used the saloon insides for the ground floor and built two bedrooms and beds for the 1st floor.
Obviously only two bedrooms as it's most definitely that most overused town description of "a two-whores town!"
The stairs were a bit of a "Botch It Bob" job taking the gallows steps and "adapting" them to stand either side of the balcony, kept separate for storage and ease of transport etc, plus it was easier to build them separately!
C&C welcome, as always.
