Like the railway, or possibly railtown (railway not completed yet) idea. S scale seems to be reckoned a pretty good match for 28mm figures, saw this and definitely this on ebay, couldn't find any sign of tracks though.

Yeah S Gauge is apparently the way to go, but getting hold of a train might prove very expensive, seen some for hundreds of $'s US plus huge shipping costsĀ¬!

See if you can get an Airfix kit of one, I know they do them in OO gauge. Train models are only expensive because of the worky bits which, on wooden track, wouldn't be very worky anyway! Could you get a little shunter cause they don't cost much, about a fiver for a plastic kit, it'd be alright as a narrow gauge engine and just use OO track which is really cheap second hand, I've got some you can have if you want; it looks about right with 28mm critters too. Goldmine anyone?

... but getting hold of a train might prove very expensive.... You could possibly build one - I don't know if any of your cowboys are on horses but a 'train heist' scenario with baddies trying to rob the train and goodies trying to defend it might work quite well. Arguably you could get away with just modelling the carriages

Hi guys, yeah Pete, might end up with something like that, even though 00 gauge really is too small for 28mm true scale minis! They're 1/64th scale and 00 is close to 1/72nd scale. Quite a difference at that size! Building one might be an option Alan, would probably be a very long job though and I'm not entirely sure my modelling skills would be up to it, we'll see. More pics of the latest buildings and the set-up on Wednesday son, just need a couple of hours to upload and edit them first, maybe over the weekend. HG

Lol. They'll be along in due course. I'm trying to get the "official" gangs from the game done first, that way I can use them all and find out which rules best suit the Liberty Belles. Oh, and they won't all be red heads either!

That's why I said do narrow gauge, the track is narrower than normal and the locos are tiddly cute little things!

Probably too small though I would think Pete. 00 gauge is waaay too small for these minis! OK next, here are some pics from the last club night, first, the next lot of buildings finished (apart from the sign on the last building, now to be a Telegraph office) Then the whole town to date: Finally a few in game shots More to come in due course, I have the mine workings mainly finished and two more gangs started painting. 7th Cavalry and Cowboys. Could really do with a big brown blanket over the table before you set the buildings up, nice to see that the fire service was there though, to make sure the buildings had enough space between them to act as a fire break Just had another look at that industrial 'mine workings' kit that Doom linked to earlier, it says ideal for Malifaux which is 32mm and opening the tracks out just requires using longer/wider sleepers. Just thinking that even without trains, the tracks could represent tricksy ground for moving over and partial cover for figures that have 'gone to ground'. And the mine workings themselves could be the target for the baddies, and the ore (check spelling) trucks could prove useful as mobile cover. And just read the last line of your post that says 'we alreddy gott one' - too busy looking at the pretty pikky's
