Nope. I made a mold of a Ushabti to get the head. I only did some cleaning up as well as the collar. The face and ears are all GW's doing. It's a good thing, too, because I really don't have time to sculpt more than minor detail on Blood Bowl models. Way too busy with all the other stuff while at the same time in need of a Blood Bowl team yesterday. Well, it's not quite that bad, but after I watched my first game of Blood Bowl today and had the rules explained to me, I really feel the need for a team more than ever. What I can do with existing models and kitbashing shall be done so.

I see, looks good all the same - looking forward to seeing the rest of the team.

Update time! First time without an Inquisitor because, frankly, building up the back is tedious and boring and currently as exciting as a blob of green stuff. No, wait. It IS a blob of green stuff! But I got something painted: A sniper for the Glow Rangers, I had this guy half painted on my desk for a while. I hate running out of motivation halfway through a model... I think I am in full Fallout mode again, since I'm painting another three models and working on getting four more ready for painting (one of them One-Oh-One, so that one's going to take a little while). Regardless of that, I'm also focusing on the Flesh Golem for Blood Bowl right now. It's mostly sticking on plastic bits, but I really needed to get the hands holding the skull done before I could go back to throwing on plastic bits. That's almost done now with some cleaning up left to do. The other Tomb Guard only needs his bracer sculpted and he'll be ready, too. After that I should probably assemble some Zombies.

Cool model - eventhough you painted him fair haired, he still looks like Burt Reynolds

Thanks. I never even though of Burt Reynolds. Heh! My choice was only between Mexican badass and 70s porn star.

In theory, Burt Reynolds could be a 70s mexican pornstar.

But that is exactly who he reminded me of. It's an awesome mini and I think the fair hair is what makes him extra-special-cool, apart from the sunglasses that is. I... somehow agree - yet I lack the knowledge to comment competently on that remark. My memories of Burt Reynolds are very innocent - after Bud Spencer he was one of my favourite childhood moviestars: Smokey and the Bandit

Poor Burt Reynolds was only ever a peripheral thing when I grew up. I was quite aware that he existed, but funnily never really saw him. Bud Spencer, now we're talking!

Update time! I painted an Assaultron: That's the last army robot I have (barring major conversion to make a Sentry Bot or three). I have a couple of robots reserved to get a blue police paint job, though. One-Oh-One is making progress: Mostly, she was just missing the combat shotgun, which as you can see is in the works now. Getting it there and putting on the wire for the sling was a nightmare, but the result is very durable, which is one of my main concerned when sculpting models. I doubt the model will take any damage if dropped from the table. Also, this is my first attempt to sculpt a proper rifle sling that's hanging in the air, which works just fine once the wire is actually in place. The shotgun needs a good bit of work still, but this is pretty much the final stage before I get to basing and painting the model. Took me long enough, too. And for Blood Bowl, the second Tomb Guard. This time with bird Ushabti head:

Cool minis - love the green color on the assaultatron.

Thanks, Manus. Update time! Just a quick one: Probably of more value to me than anyone else, but I find zoomed in progress pictures on an illuminated computer screen quite helpful when it comes to planning out the next stage of sculpting. It gives me an additional perspective to work with.

Know the feeling, I often spot patches where paint should goo after photoing

I won't be doing it for much longer, though. There's probably going to be a small clean-up period ahead, but the basing is done and the only item on the model left to do is the half finished combat knife. Yay.
