So like the other's my first entry is about what I'm planning to do with this.
Previous armies I've collected lately have been for a specific purpose, mostly tournaments in some fashion, so what I did was plan out an army list I thought would be a good idea and bought the exact models I needed. The positives of this method was that, at the end, I would have the army I planned and I was good to go! The negatives being that when I would play with the army, generally before I'd finished painting them, flaws would appear in how I was trying to use them but couldn't fix said flaws as I was still just trying to get what I'd bought painted in time.
The only other army I currently have was built over much longer time and just had a single goal. That is my Ultramarines. I wanted to build a company and I succeeded! The bonus being is that I would also get other stuff alongside the company, as when it went on crusades it would bring along tanks, scouts and veterans in some form.
So, that means that this time I want to try and do a more organic army building process. Get some core units and a hero, play some games and decide from there on what I may think I need... and the big dinosaurs!
Colour wise I think I want to go with a bright green skin for the saurus and skinks, possibly red shields and a good amount of gold and obsidian. With the bigger creatures I'm not quite sure yet but I'll have a bit of time before that will be a problem.

I Also had an idea for their bases when I was in Hobbycraft the other day. Mosaic tiles... I'm not sure if it'll look good though.

I've decided after reading through the Lizardmen army book that I'm going to be running a couple of special characters as default for my army.
Tetto'eko, the Skink Priest on the palanquin with Loremaster of the Lore of Heavens and some funky rules on rerolling magic generation.
Tiktaq'to, the Master of Skies on a terradon with decent weaponry and gives a unit of terradon riders he joins to have ambusher.
They won't be the only characters in the long run, as I will have to get a Saurus Old Blood on Carnosaur and a Slann Mage-Priest, and they probably won't be the first as I'll most likely getting an Old Blood on foot to join my first Saurus regiment and a Skink Priest.

Those BIG trees look great and would be the right scale for untouched jungle. Really good find!!!

Now that is a nice table. Get making it Paul Ha yeah! I need an idea of other building materials. The bases fine, the mini-tiles are a great idea and can get the foliage from fish tank decorations. But the temple buildings, what's that made from? Looks ideal!

Didn't think the stuff I have looks that thick... Need to plan out a layout to cut out first. Got to start big with the temple

Foam board, 5mm stuff. you have some already... Just got to love the little reminders we give one another every now and then. I think the model in the pic is a laser cut timber model, but as the mighty Zog says it'd be very easy to replicate in foam board.

Yeah, that's the ones. The structure themselves look relatively simple, except for maybe the smaller stairs. But think I'll be getting hold of a hot glue gun and have a play with water effects for spawning pools

Forget hot glue, use No-nails from pound land . Cheaper and more durable
