Well running out of undercoat a few days ago really put a dent in the rush forward with this. But nevermind, i will just have to wait for payday. So i thought about other projects. Liek the 2400pts+ of unpainted elves. But i just can't bring myself to paint them. This has been an ongoing problem over the last few years and i am rapidly growing tired of it. It's frustrating, annoying and to someone who has been a gamer for what is rapidly approaching 30 years...it's frankly upsetting. I don't know why, but i just don't seem able to put brush to model anymore

Im going to use this as a place to cover my projects other than the 'tale of fantasy gamers'.
In what i hope to be a positive hobby move, I have decided to curb my spending to Nil over the next 6-12 months. Why you may ask....simply put...the mammouth backlog of plasticrak i have waiting to be worked on.
It looks like this. Deadzone all starter gangs and scenery. Dystopian Wars - Brittania Fleet. Malifaux - Rail crew. Dreadball - 2 teams. Hoardes - Trollblood faction starter. Bolt Action - Pegasus Bridge and British Airbourne force. Kings of War - 1000pts Orc army. Zombicide - Season 1 and 2 sets.
Thats the basic list of stuff i have awaiting immediate attention. I have no misgivings that i will struggle to get 25% of that done in addition to my Tale of gamers project. But its the beginning of a plan. My motivation is to game more and also the £30 i would have spent on my tale of project will be getting saved. That way at the end of the year i can look at something big and insanely cool as a 'reward'.
Updates may be erratic depending on progress elsewhere.

Weell, you've got plenty to go at , best trick as far as I can see is to do something you fancy 'til you run out of steam then pick something else to go at, and consider every one you complete as a thing in itself and not something that needs a zillion other things before its finished. It's what I keep telling myself

That is an astonishing amount of detailed scenery, you sure do have your work cut out but it's gonna look ace when complete! FK

So today has been spent mostly indulging my itch for the good old 6th Airborne project. So heres a quick pic of my current bolt action British Airbourne force. 2 10 man sections with bren gun, 2 inch mortar team, piat team, vickers heavy machine gun team, command section and Major Howard himself.

Nice set of figures you have there, can`t wait to see them painted and based.................. So many different systems and not enough time, have the same problem myself. Doom....

Now don't pass out people as its a hectic pace to keep up!!! But my first finished model of 2014 is complete. My Dystopian Wars, Kingdom of Britannia Ruler class battleship. HMS Trafalgar. I can honestly say those headcases during ww1 who invented dazzle pattern camoflauge. Need to be terminated!

In the space of 24 hours...2 complete models by me...what is this madness??? In all honesty i am currently painting whatever i feel like and it is working. It's not helping my Tale of gamers army. But i am getting models done. Here is my Rail Golem for my next Malifaux crew. He just needs a base, but i need to settle on a idea for the whole crew before i do that.

I don't know why, but i just don't seem able to put brush to model anymore I fully hear you on that "can't paint" scene. I'm going through exactly the same thing, even down to the same time period. Build models? Not really a problem. Paint them? No chance. Why? No idea What. So. Ever. R. PS. That bridge is ace. It would seem that there are several - nay, many - folks who have purchased the Collector's version but even though the price tag is £275.00 you can see why and you get a shedload of stuff for your buck.
