Today I have been mainly dying of man-flu and hacking my lungs up, but in between bouts of appallingly bad health (yet again) I have managed to finally get round to doing some more Orks for the Mini-meet! I stripped, cleaned and assembled 4 more old GW "egg" style Bad moon Mega Nobs to go with the 12 I already have, giving 2 Mobs of 8! Then I go on to the Kromlech Mega Nobs, these are fantastic minis and nearly twice as big as the Bad Moons! There are 15 of them now all assembled. Hope to get an undercoat on them tomorrow if I have time, we'll see. All I need now is a close up of how Paul (FK) has done my Ghazkhull and 3 new GW Mega nobs and I can start my painting journey through that little lot! HG

Perhaps you should get ill more often Impressive looking megahoard that should look proppa scary once they're all painted up. Just out of curiosity, how high are those Kromlech (not) Meganobs from the bottom of their feet to the tops of their shoulder boards?

Crumbs Bob is there any stopping you?
I'm well impressed with how much you've managed to squeeze into the last week or so with the scenery as well as assembling these!

Thanks guys.
Badfang, they vary slightly, about 1 1/2" to 1 3/4" bottom of boots to top of shoulder plates, the engines rise slightly higher beyond that.

Cheers Bob, that makes 'em about the same size as my Orko Malliss MANz (though their engines are a bit more kompakt)

OK, Old mega-nobz now 75% finished, just detailing and basing to go. And with the rest of their mates! And the Kromlechs, also about 75% finished, again detailing and basing to go: Add to these the Ghazkhull and 3 GW megas that Paul is painting for me and that's the basis for my 2000 point mini-meet army for May! Of course, I do need three battlewagons as well, 1 is the converted Land Raider and the other two are my mega-battlewagons made years ago! Unfortuntely they are both 11-12" long and are really too big for battlewagons, so I will be cutting them down to size in the next week or so. C&C welcome. HG

Nice going Bob And with the rest of their mates! What a green and verdant planet they've invaded! Of course, I do need three battlewagons as well, 1 is the converted Land Raider and the other two are my mega-battlewagons made years ago! Unfortuntely they are both 11-12" long and are really too big for battlewagons, so I will be cutting them down to size in the next week or so. Ah, those'll be the old WYSIWYG (pre Tardis) ones that will actually fit 20 boyz in 'em. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with for them

Thanks mate, I already have them big enough for 30+ Boyz actually! LOL Like most of my Ork builds they all start off reasonable size and grow organically until they are too big ... but AWESOME! LOL And the green bases are because my whole Ork army is based like that, they started back in 2nd Edition and I can't be bothered to re-base so many minis!

Thanks guys, you won't need many guns James, no invulnerable saves, and very few "bums on seats" in my army! Just very fluffy!
