I really like them, so cool looking. Please don't tone down the red, that's what really make these minis pop. If you don't like the look 100%, you should try to add a bit of (not to orange) highlight, or add a complementary color to the red ie. blue.

Looked at in the cold light of day they aren't that bright. As usual photography brings the colours up a bit. I did give them a wash of Gryphonne Sepia though, just to dirty them up a little. They are Orks after all! Detailing is going to take some time! Kromlech minis are so detailed!

As usual photography brings the colours up a bit. Says the master photographer. My pictures usually wash out the colors.

Well I have to edit the pics I take as otherwise they're too dark to see and it's that edit that brings up the colour brightness!

Looking at the pics I think I might need to tone down the red a bit eh? Nah! BadMoonz'll have plenty of grots polishing and buffing and re-painting, and da Goffs aren't going to be outdone by a bunch of poncy BadMoonz

Tone them down - Goffs is not worried about lookin' like a bunch o' nancy Boyz. Goffs is all about Krumpin' Fings.

OK progress, of a sort, on the battlewagons. For those that wanted pre and post hacking pics here's the two mahoosive battlewagons before the chop-shop: My original one, about 11+" long! Some of you might remember it from previous sites! (Yes its almost as old as me! ) And the second one that never got its paint job finished, this was the one with the rising deck at the back that I video'd to the Monty Python theme song, long, long ago now and sadly lost, the springs busted to so that's not working any more, sadly: This one was 12+" long! Both of them were kept in storage as they were too big to use on a regular basis, so with the May Mini-meet coming up I decided to chop them down to size and use the more often. Here's where I am with the first one, hacked out the middle deck section and stuck the front onto the cabin section with the addition of a new spare Roller at the front. As you can see, now a lot shorter, only 8 12" long and more like the size of my current Land Raider converted Battlewagon, so will be more useful. It's not finished yet as the front needs bulking a little to match the cabin width, but it's there or thereabouts for everything else. C&C welcome as usual, HG

Looking good, Bob - they were indeed huge! Easier to lug around now as well, I imagine.

I loved the old ones, but if they hardly get used, better to resize them. And to be honest, the first one actually got even looking better, so doublescore!

Don't know if you're that bothered but for myself I'd be tempted to fill in the tops of the track covers and make up some card double width track plates and fit them over the front and back links (extending inwards) to beef them up a bit. Other than that - not looking at all shoddy

Can't afford more Dakka if I want to take as many meganobs as possible. These battlewagons are transport only options! I know what you mean Badfang, but that's what I'm going to leave them as. Thanks for the comps.
