Everyone else seems to be starting afresh so might as well be trendy and kool for once Battlewagon Can be run as transport 20 or transport 12 wiv a big gun! Also started work on kroos for my buggies Run out of GW ork bits so I'm having to do them the old fashioned way by building up from copper wire skellies - had to put the boot soles on first to make sure they'd fit in the cabs Done a bit more on this too Gorks Grabba is well under way at the back and Morks Mawla is also under way, 'course the builds not getting any smaller

How heavy has that bad boy got up to now? Looks pretty menacing from here. All the different sculpting you are doing is really good.

Ah, righty-ho, can't remember if I posted this one in SWs' Milliput/GS thread but my bossmek is about warboss size and he's 4 1/ 2" from the floor to the top of his KFF, the WaaaghHound is now about 12" tall and about 14" from it's nose to the back of the re-akta - it's not little

Still having problems getting my sculpts good enough, so I threw some GW together You can probably see from the Milliput that it involved a bit more than gluing, even the bases had to be 'putted. Still, they look a bit better in primer Decided I could do with another skrap trukk for my DeffSkulz, had an old BattleWagon hanging around so that got modded Wasn't too convinced so I hit it a bit with a ball pain hammer and polished it with a wire brush on an angle grinder Looks a bit skrappier now, so, still doin' stuff - even if it is just wrekkin da joint

Extremely kool work indeed FK Cheers Paul - hopefully better late than never , got so disappointed that you weren't doing a Harlequin Titan that I decided to do some Arlykwin Orks instead. I don't know if these actually are the most paint intensive unit in GWs' entire product range but they've gotta be contenders - there's more paint goes into their guns than goes into the average ork, and that's before you start paintning the gits (who aren't average orks). I gave them a 2nd ed type paintjob 'coz it seemed kind of appropriate - sadly their guns just look way too plasticky so I am going to have to get the weathering powders out on them and do a bit more before I can claim my 9 whole painting points for 'em

Right, gunz are a bit less plasticky now so I'm calling 'em done And all together now One bit of good news is that I re-read the roolz and it's one painting point for a mini on 25mm or smaller bases and two points for 40mm bases - which is what these gitz are supposed to go on (these are on slightly smaller bases due to my having a transport in mind for them but they're still bigger than 25's), so I've made a start

Wow! Those orks are awesome! Really great conversion job, and I love the retro paintjob you've done on them. And I think you were right to weather the guns to make them that bit more realistic and orkish. How about an army shot?

Cheers, yeah they may be flash gitz but they're still Orks As far as an army shot is concerned, I'll have to see if I can find a board first to set them up on, and then see if I can can get enough light on them - Sunday is a possibility if the Met Office can be trusted

Yay for the Met Office Only found a big enough board for my BrassAxes Back row left to right there's some RT era 'count as' kannons, three 'looted wagons', a Battlewagon and five 'count as' lobbas. Middle left to right there's a unit of 6 Kommandos, another unit of 6 Kommados, 20 Slugga boyz, 5 Mega Armoured Nobz, 20 'Ard boyz, Warboss and boss mob, 12 Tankbustaz, another 20 Slugga boyz, 30 shoota boyz and 17 Stormboyz. At the front centre there's a mek with 2 grot oilers, a Wierdboy and a runtherd with 17 grots for the entire army to hide behind. Once I've put 'em all away again, I'll see about doing my SunBurnz and OozToof?s Edit: That's annoying, when I opened the pic in a new window and zoomed in it started pixellating despite the fact that the original in PhotoBukkit is 4016x1080 pixels Edit2: Changed the original pic for a downsized version - no point wasting Bukkit space Edit3: Got my other mobs set up and snapped Have to do a roll call for them when I've worked out wot's wot.(Yay2, auto-incorrect's been switched off) now, so that's 12 burnaz, 12 spanna boyz + a skrapp trukk, 9 lootaz, 9 flash gitz - oh, and a stompa for my OozToof?s And 48 slugga boyz, 7 warbikes, 5 trukks, 9 buggies and VroomDakkas' BattleBuggy for my SunBurnz.
