That's a lot of rivets. Not sure it's enough, though.

That's a lot of rivets. Cheers Geifer - here's some more Not sure it's enough, though. Actually had to get rid of some from behind the head as they were stopping it from turning Can probably see that paint's been happening and I've got the flamebelcha in it's gob linked up to a rack & pinion retrakta mekanism - deployed in the 2nd pic, stowed in the next. Might get a bit more done this week now that I've binged out on Game of Thrones

Actually had to get rid of some from behind the head as they were stopping it from turning Pft. Functionality is overrated. Anyway, looks pretty cool, but I think I really need to see arms on it. Without arms it reminds me a lot of the stage two critters from Tremors. Not that that's a bad thing, mind you. But probably not intended by the creator, I imagine.

Pft. Functionality is overrated. Too fond of my Werky Bitz I think I really need to see arms on it. Without arms it reminds me a lot of the stage two critters from Tremors. Thanks, arms are getting closer, Done the neck cover and left shoulder And the back and the right shoulder Might get a bit more done this week now that I've binged out on Game of Thrones, that`s what you think. The next season is due to start soon................... I wait 'til they come out on DVD and watch them end to end I really looks alive Cheers, hoping he'll be able to keep Smoggy alive next WaaaghMeet That's the end of turn 2 (just after he'd one-shotted a SkullHammer by rolling an eleven on two d6 for strength on da Glare ov Gork and just before he got all blowed up in retaliation by a Krawla that really needs an eight strength D thumping)

Actually I could say something even with the lack of arms. Traditional two tone doesn't hide it against a digital camo backdrop. That's more like it, though. Say, are you going to add grot riggers in the end? Most important detail after rivets, if you ask me.

Another Month, another update Actually I could say something even with the lack of arms. Traditional two tone doesn't hide it against a digital camo backdrop. I'm pretty sure that there's going to be a lot of people out there working on hi-res cameras with software programmed to look for 90 o angles and highlight them so that anyone wearing digital camo sticks out like a sore thumb Say, are you going to add grot riggers in the end? Most important detail after rivets, if you ask me. See, it's all geifer's fault - rather than concentrating on the other arm I started thinking about riggaz and where to put them. Had a look at some GW grots I found and decided converting them was more trouble than I could be bothered with so I just painted them to match my other GW grots. And then I got some from FW and had a look at them Propped up at the bottom are four heads I had a go at sculpting from GS, not much kop for size or detail, not entirely hopeless but will have to do better. The FW ones might prove better models but I'm not too impressed with their quality control Guess I'll have to start by sculpting a foot The intact ones paint up quite nice though

See, it's all geifer's fault... It usually is! Nice work on the Grots, even if they they ended up not having any part in prettying up the titan. Did you sculpt the heads on a Grot? I find it helps to have a framework, in this case the shoulders/torso of the Grot for reference to get the size right, as well as a reference model with which the sculpt is meant to fit. Seems to me like the Forgeworld Grots have a bigger focus on the nose while the plastic ones seem to have a wider jaw.

No, I used a bit of bent tinplate for them, you're right about the jaw and nose thing though, Jeez - those FW ones have got tiny teef. Got most of them painted up but I'll only be able to use about half of them as riggaz These are no good coz there's no gunz on my stompa - shells looked a bit weedy too so I bigged them up a bit Which meant the one at far right had to have a new arm and hand made up - it's a bit big but it's not a million miles out These I can use, and I've started work on the pair with the missing foot. The way that the grot's bellies go into their waistband looks promising

Loving the grot`s mate, just a pity you can`t use all of them. The guy with the "slightly" bigger hand, i kind of like that as it adds character to the mini.
The big "Guys" coming along nicely, loving the left arm he has......just need to see him with his right arm, and it`s game on.
Great work mate, keep at it and let`s not be waiting to long for a finished group pic with his krew on board...............
