I vouch for nothing, Zog, I'm only repeating what was said.

If FW is going to take over the production they'll be using a 2 part mould and pouring instead. The resin FW uses is not suitable for spin casting.

It's going to be pretty interesting how they do a few of the models with large returns on them. And they will use vacuum chambers Quality should improve. Hmmm ... Vacuum chamber ...

Oh, the devils.
Why did they have to paint that Venator in WE colours?

Not sure on the Vindi myself, but the Sicaran's are very nice indeed. They look great in the flesh.
As to FW taking over the fail cast stuff...i think most of the "rumours" are just that and based on wish lists/want lists rather than actual hard fact. But the current trend of releases not including them is a sure fire sign of them not being continued in this fashion which is great. I hope they just don't replace characters with the current pretty static looking plastics.

I figure the motion of their single plastic models is more limited by the designer's intent than the material. While yes, you have to cram the model into a single sprue of a certain size, I can think of a couple of examples where I get a nice sense of movement. The Fireblade and Librarian are two models I really like, not the least because of their posture. And let's not forget Shadowblade who's leaping off a spiky bit with his cape flying in the wind. All plastic can't come soon enough for me.

Intriguing. MOST intriguing.
But why would Guard get a Knight kit when they have their super-heavy's already?
