Cheers . I've got the third one all washed, ready for highlights so I am getting through these quite quickly... well... quicker than I expected . In other news... I have finished a small sculpting commission and sent it off. I have now been asked to sculpt some other bits too . It is quite cool to get a repeat commission (especially after the buyer has an example of my work and wants more). I am quite pleased

Bumblebees, they shouldn't fly, but they still do

Hopefully, I can keep my focus long enough to sculpt the next ones. I seem to be in a good 'doing things' mood at the moment... It is a good thing that I don't ask for payment up-front . Here's what I sculpted: 1 is 20mm, 2 is 22mm and 3 is 14mm tall (from the bottom of the base to the tallest point)... so they are fairly small . The next sculpts are of different creatures... and I haven't started yet

Cheers . I really enjoyed sculpting them... which is unusual. I have had real issues with sculpting over the last year and I hope that these are the sculpts that help me to get back to being a little bit productive. I hate not finishing commissions because I am letting people down when it happens... Any way, here is the finished squad of Torge's Tigers (minus decals and OGrymn): There is more information here: insosworld.blogspot.co.uk/...and here: grymnoutthere.blogspot.co.uk/

Nice tiger stripes. I have had real issues with sculpting over the last year and I hope that these are the sculpts that help me to get back to being a little bit productive. I hate not finishing commissions because I am letting people down when it happens... I know that feeling...

The Tigers are now rank marked and have had decals added to their shoulders. Unfortunately, due to the weather, I have yet to matt varnish them so they are currently far too gloss for a photograph. Instead, I have continued with my urban powered armour and now have twelve finished: There is more info on my blog (including a first look at my next commission sculpt): insosworld.blogspot.co.uk/2014/02/the-grymn-march-continues.html

After a bit more painting, I now have three sections of troops in their correct configuration: The top four troopers are the command section and the eight below are two separate infantry sections. Now that they are arranged as they should be, I have removed the 'place-setters' and they are added to their sections below: As you can see, I need to paint the rest but I will be painting them three at a time so as to give me a break between painting angles. Still... on the plus side, I am now over half way! Once they are all painted, I will be adding decals and varnish and they will be able to join the NMA properly .

NMA? New Midget Army? Very crisp, clean paint, do you mask the angles or are you just incredibly neat with a 00000 paintbrush?

I bought this rather nice, cybernetic chap at the weekend and thought that he would go well with a small superhero team that I have... so Cyblast was born: Here is the group: I think of him as a sentient robotic creation... luckily, he is on the good team
