Converting your own models. I know It's great... it is also very weird. I still get a massive grin when I pick up one of my minis that have been cast in metal

Well... it is now finished except for a bit of varnish so, seeing as I am really lucky with varnishing things (he lied), I thought I'd take a bunch of pix just in case I ruin it. So... here is the painted item "I'm going to need a bigger boat!": Love this characterful piece. It really tells a story!

Here's one with the new gizmos available from Hasslefree (basic paint but I'm not sure what to do with it yet...) :

I'm on to the next batch of eggs now... and have got this far with them: The top three have just been primed and the bottom ones just need the highlights and bases doing. The advent of the new heavy back-packs has meant a rethink on organisation... check out this link for more information: insosworld.blogspot.co.uk/2014/01/grinding-forward.html

I've been continuing the process of painting the platoon, without getting caught up in details (due to having NO sleep recently )... slow but steady progress: There is also an interesting diversion in powered armour form... you'll find it here: insosworld.blogspot.co.uk/2014/01/grymn-power.htmlYes... it is good to be back in the saddle with this project .

A Flying tiger? The first member of Torge's Tigers: The jump pack is from Puppetswar. There are another four to go but seeing as they are so time consuming to paint, I may limit the little unit to a total of five... but a plan never survives contact with the enemy, now does it?!

Love what you have done with him mate, and nice paint scheme Come together nicely. Like the jump pack, just goes to show what can happen when you mix parts from different kits and systems. Lovely model, and keep up with the good work.
Doom....

Cheers ...and then there were two: They are different because they each have personalised armour (they paint their own, you know ).
