Really liking the level of detail. Makes me want to crack on with some more painting myself.

Thanks a lot guys, much appreciated. The really hard part will truly be the repeat bit. Geifer: do you mean, like in size comparison Barry? @paladin: the red is made as follow. Black basecoat, red basecoat GW Mecrite red, Shade Vallejo ModelColor (VMC)red, shade 2 VMC Burnt Cad.red, highlight mix GW Mecrite red and Evil sunz scarlet, highlight 2 evil sunz scarlet, highlight 3 mix GW evil sunz scarlet and fire dragon bright, edge highlight fire dragon bright. Simple as that

Geifer: do you mean, like in size comparison Barry? Maybe. I want a size comparison with every other Mechanicus model you finished so far. All in one pretty picture. That's totally a Barry picture, right? Or an HG shot. That'll do, too.

@paladin: brainbreak bad - avoid at all costs. Geifer: ahh - I see. Perhaps it's time for one of those.

I saw this picture and thought of you. It's from Adepticaon and shows some new warbeasts for Warmachine/Hordes.

Thanks Inso, I just saw the big ones minis yesterday - and they are really cool and extremely brutal, I really like them. The only problem I think is their uniform posture, I really wish they would have some more variety than the weapons. I did however at once decide to try and copy those helmets, they look so evil. The smaller ones I had not seen, very interesting - does hold some conversion possibilities. Thanks for the thoughts, and please keep adding suggestions if you spot something else that might be interesting. Pulled my self together and redid that hideous paintjob on the praetorian servitor - already much better, and I'm pretty sure I'll get it finished in the not too distant future. Also worked more (time and precision) on my OSL. I'm quite happy with the result especially the subtleness of it, never been a great fan of over-done OSL, which I think is a common occurrence these days.

Ewww, he's really nasty. Good job. I like the tracks - it's great with proper recesses around the wheels. The steampunkt feel of the engine also works really well.
