They work really well. It's pretty amazing how you can mash a load of different bits together and come up with such funky models.

Thanks a bunch - really enjoy thinking up these creations. The next two of the unit is ready - only missing a leader now.

The ideas you're coming up with are really helping me with trying to work out what direction I want to take my IH's.
Was struggling to work out an aesthetic. Might have to brorrow a few ideas if that's ok with u.

The leader of the pack - The Optio - rolled of the assembly line today. With that the unit is complete and ready to join (several) others in the painting line.

The drill one on the background. Is the drill the end of a plastic screw or a custom part?
Also had a look on your blog and the additional pics do the new model justice. Really like the back pack with the servo arm with a camera on the end.

Cheers guys. Glad you like the camera idea sw1, it looked a bit different when I pictured it, and I wasn't really sure it was working as it is. I'm actually still considering changing it a bit. The drill is a bit from a servoarm sprue from Blightwheel miniatures.I have actually been looking for plastic screws, but haven't been able to find any, so if you know where to get some please let me know. The tracks a quite right the guntractor from Anvil Industry - cool product, once again from Joel.

I've seen some somewhere ages ago but can't think where at the moment. When I saw them I though they'd be great doing conversion bits. Didn't have my wallet on me and never got around to going back. Think it was possibly the local hardware store.

Very cool The mods are spot on and the masks are suitably menacing and 'robotic' looking... nice job

They do indeed look good, but my God that's going to be an expensive squad....

If he's clever though, he can recoup some of his money by selling all the bits he didn't use (especially the command bits and heads with berets on).

Thanks a lot guys, really like the model my self as well. I was a bit put off by the cost at first, but every time I have tried to build a force from the TF codex I use, I have never bought more than one squad of these anyway, so I figured I'd go for it. And for bits, you are absolutely right, I guess some could go on eBay - never tried that before, could be good fun. On the other side, I am a sucker for bits, so I'm not sure I have the heart
