Got the Skorcha mounted with a retractable hose and a slew cylinder using a balljoint off an old radio (lack of) controlled helicopter.
Sorry about the state of the pix - had my camera set to 'auto'.
Been messing around with its' CC arm too, I want to be able to move the arm in position and then lock it in place.... cogs sound a good idea
With spring loaded rods that can jam them in place
This is just a temporary lash up to prove it'll work
And that'll be where the shoulder's going

So, two weeks of Fun with Fulcrums and messing about with Angles of Dangle whilst suffering from man-flu and I've just about got to this stage
Still got the back and a bit of one side to do but paint may happen soon

Cheers Doom, and a month later it's been painted compared against my other megadredd hacked back a bit and now needs a smaller combat arm, which I'm working on

Finally finished mucking about with my Harriork MegaDredd
It's a bit taller than I'd planned on
but on the plus side in this shot the centre of the saw blade is about 8" off the floor and the arm can go higher - how far off the ground is a Warhound's gob?

Did summit at my right hand just before krimble, it's less worse now so I had a rummage through my bitzboxes Probably about time my DeffSkulz DreddMob had some dredds in it So I cobbled them back together again plus a 'new' one I started 'some time' ago and then mucked about with them a bit Well, that didn't take very long

Thanks guys You'ze a Deffskull and a thievin' git wot got hit wiv a choppa going after some teef? Zogga! Rumbled Had a go at some objective markers so I put an angle grinder through some empty been tins, stuck 'em to cardboard bases covered in Milliput, flocked them, 'putted some entries on the front and primered them They do look a bit like dog kennels from the front, better from the sides? There's another one partly done, struggling to think of a suitable sign to put on the front of it so any suggestions would be extremely welcome

I like the access tube look. Marked for looting in the future. Since you're mentioning dog house resemblance, how about "beware of squig"?

Cheers Geifer, I had considered 'Beware ov Da Squig' but even dropping two letters it's still a lot of carving in quite a small space, I'd also considered 'No Exit' but I thought it a bit too existentialist for Orks Finally got somewhere though, pix up tonight

It's strangely difficult to encapsulate Ork Kulture that is generally viewed as simple in a simple, short phrase. Who knew?

Cheers Manus, that's likely where they'll end up It's strangely difficult to encapsulate Ork Kulture that is generally viewed as simple in a simple, short phrase. Who knew? 'Simple' is a funny thing, just try really contemplating how many people are involved in making a slice of bread Got all four mainly done, oil wash is drying on the last one, varnish tomorrow
