Cheers Doom, finished is definitely looming Still got more to do on the bloo, had to Milliput the barrel in place coz of the nasty gap, bit more to do on the yellows, got to knock up a quick cylinder for the front of the klaw arm 'coz I didn't like either of the options FW give you for the arm position - and still trying to work out if I want to risk white stripes on the shoulder boards. Other than that, I reckon I'm in with a chance of another 5 painting points tomorrow

So Mr MegaDredd has had both of his arms pinned and a couple of skorchaz replacing the stock bigshootaz and now looks almost complete Bit more paint, bit of weathering and I'll be pestering Draco again

And still wants even more paint (oil washes really) and weathering but it ain't far off now
Backgrounds a bit gloomy, I thought that taking pix of a bloo Dred against a bloo background? I went for black because I wanted to show off the Mekas' lighting rig
Used clear araldite and fluorescent paints for the lenses ('cept the busted one-quite chuffed at how that turned out), started on the killsaw arm and knocked up another killsaw blade out of GS for the other arm (still to be built), started paint on the shoulder plates and sawed off the end of the Megas' killkannon - might get used as a defna (bit like a silencer but Orkier) - The Meka's starting to get paint too

Into diminishing returns territory now with the Mega
I keep doing bits to it
And it keeps looking much the same
Not sure that there's much more I can do to it
I'll ponder it while I do some more on the Meka

..... liking the colour scheme on them..... Cheers Doom, I find bloo a really hard colour to get credible combat damage/orky abuse on - it tends to go from too dark to baby blue with not much leeway in-between So I done some more on the Mekas' fiddler claws and fitted its' ripper saw arm
and fiddled about with the exhausts a bit Other than that, just finding out the hard way that there's even more details on this one than the other one

And still plugging away at it, the body's just about done Reckon it makes a pretty good Iron Fixin' Squig Ranged weapons load-outs are somewhat uninspiring though so I decided to go the twin rippa saw route, I already had one, all I had to do was copy it

Saw arm's primered and fitted It's ended up too big and heavy so I've had to do a bit of basing under his feet to stop him faceplanting - still plugging away at it

Cheers Doom, come a bit further now .... Any chance of a 3rd one ?? Hmmm, now you mention it I do like bits of Prodos's Hurricane Walker, not much for the legs and engine or the not transparent canopy - but I do have a couple of FW dredd pilots and an unused shunta kannon and a GW dakkajet

Right, calling the Meka done now And there may be another - loosely based on Prodos' Hurricane Walker May as well call it a HarriOrk

Zoggin 'eck, where'd August go? Got some of my kitscratched Megga done Though I'm now thinking it looks more like a Klunky Chikkin....... Still need to sort out the back of it, and the saw arm, and look for bits I've forgotten aboutBut it's a step in the right direction
