Sara and I were talking last night about the food and drink for may.
Originally we were thinking of going to a morrocan restaurant nearby on the saturday night. Rough costs put that at around £30 per head plus drinks. Now we all know things are tight at the minute for everyone so we came up with an alternative.
If everyone could throw £10 in we reckon we can keep the bbq going all weekend with enough meat to choke Obelix and Asterix.
Menu consisting of the following. And yes bob it's all gluten free unless stated otherwise:
Home made beef and Stilton burgers Beef, tomato and onion kebabs Pork stuffing and apple kebabs Chicken pepper and haloumi kebabs Chili con carne Jacket spuds and a bit of greenery And beercan chicken. (Not jamaican)

I'm happy either way to be honest. But I'll throw a vote in for a BBQ as saving money is always good! If you're happy with the extra trouble that is! HG

This all sounds good to me, as long as I can ditch the rabbit food or anything that looks remotely healthy....
I have standards, after all.

Beer can chicken that sounds good what is it? (And no points for the first person to say chicken in a beer can lol) I could make a couple of family sized lasagna if you want? (gluten free of course) I make a nice lasagna if I say so myself FK

It is literally that. Beer can is opened, inserted into chicken and cooked. Like reverse basting.

Yup. Get one beer can. Pour half into a glass, pop chicken on can and roast. The beer evaporates into the chicken. It's lush

Would beer can chicken work as well with gluten free beer do you think?
