Howdy folks My year has been a little eclectic of late with several projects on the go simultaneously. The main one being the Imperial Fists of course, but in addition to this I have started an Imperial Navy force, and and also for Armies on Parade 2014 I am looking at some Dark Angel stuff (although originally started as just a collection of the Apoc Formation...) So here are a few cheeky photos of recent stuff/WIP/projects as they progress. It will be a little jumbled but meh, hobby is hobby! Imperial Fist Objective Markers Imperial Navy Vulture and Thunderbolt Crew Dark Angel DeathWing Knight

The termi is great but I particularly like the personalised helmets on the air crew... it's little details like those that make the difference

Thanks chaps! Yeah the individual pilot helmets were inspired by TopGun to be honest. However all crew will be named after characters from the remake of Battlestar Galactica. All two man crews will be Raptor teams, and all one man will be Viper pilot named! Added nerd points...

Ace paint job, particularly loving the cockpit art - guessing that you transferred it from a computer print, haven't a clue how?

I googled some 1920's pin up models (as you do) for the nose art in a Memphis Belle style. Coped the image, removed any background, and then printed them on decal paper. Applied over a gloss varnish finish, then a gloss varnish once the decal was on to seal it and hide the decal flash, then matt varnished the entire model.
Pretty simple! All my flyers for the Navy will have different ladies for nose art.

Cheers for that, now I'll just go for a quick trawl through Ebay for this 'decal paper' of which you speak

Nice, but I'm not at all convinced they're what I want on the front of my Dakka Jets so I'll stick with the blanks from HWG's linky for now
