Thanks James. And basically I just slap the paint around a bit then cover it in washes, looks good enough at arms length at any rate! You doing your own mini-me ship for May Mini-meet? Any ideas what kind it'll be? HG

Well done that man....... looking good Bob, will you be doing the aircraft carrier that stratch made . Think you should have a small island with an airfield on it, gives your copter somewhere else to land, and you could add a few plaines to it....... Doom....

Made the helipad as an alternative landing site. Aircraft carrier probably a bit much, but an island helipad sounds good.

Thay're cool! And yeah, mine aren't exactly the same as the originals. Would be too much to expect at this scale. But as Stretch said "If a 7 year old (DJ) can recognise the mini-me boat from memory of the bigger one, then it doesn't matter!" Looking forward to seeing more. Fun and quick ain't they Zog? HG

To HG & Zog, looking good guys, is it one ship each or am I going to have to make Skarfleet?
Max, what's the difference between 'Hold' and 'All Stop'?

Stopping is movement, when you stopped, staying there doesnt cost movement,
Should there be a reverse?

Hi Max, that's great so far, but there are 5 movement cards. 1 Full ahead - Straight. (Options - 1) 2 Veer to Port/Starboard. (Options - 2) 3 Hard a Port/Starboard. (Options - 2) 4 All Stop - Straight ahead. (Options - 1) 5 Astern - Straight/Port/Starboard. (Options - 3) So whilst there are only 5 Cards there are 9 Options!!! Might I suggest just the 5 Options on the dial, it's then up to the Kaptins to choose a direction (or straight) once the dial is revealed where there is an Option. Having 9 choices on a dial is a little "crowded" I think! Great work and ideas so far mate! I love this dial option! HG P.S. If people prefer the Options as laid out, the "Hold!" option could be switched into Astern! and then the choices of which way are left to the Kaptin?

Badfang, make as many or as few ships as you want mate! This is for the Mini-meet in May '14 initially, bit also probably for Euromeet Autumn '14, so only really need them if you are planning on attending either or both mate. I'm making loads so that I can "carry a full game" around with me in a little box for my Club. And I know others are making them for similar reasons or to lend to those who don't make their own boats at these meets etc. But mainly its coz they're fun and easy to make mate! And to ease the potential confusion, the "All Stop!" manoeuvre would double as the Hold! option as once you're stopped an All Stop! would keep you there with no compulsory movement forward. HG
