I don't know how many of you will remember this project from the darkness of the past (2012) to be precise. But i was recently in the loft (the graveyard of all projects) when i stumbled upon the model. Looking sad and forlorn, missing its prop blades and the grot gunner having gone off in search of fungus beer...or been eaten by a spider...who knows. But for those who don't remember...well in a house long long ago. I slightly derranged bloke got an idea. The sort of idea that gets meks very rich or very dead. After many hours of cutting and sticking the Blitzquito was born. A ww2 de haviland mosquito crossed with a ork bommer. The results... As mentioned at the beginning. Some repairs were needed. The props which were fraginle at best, were gone, one of the guns had snapped and some of the 'skis' were loose. So i set about repairing them and getting some paint on the go. As this past weekend approached i had got the model to this point. I had plans to get stuck into the project further over the weekend. That was until life said otherwise. Today though i managed to get some hobby time and bought the project up to this point. I am now at a bit of a crossroads in what to do next and also how to appraoch the base.

Very nice mate, well done.
You could do the base with snow and the odd rock or tree, as you have skies on the plane it would fit. You can put a bit of snow on the skies ??

Very cool. You could have a grot flag wava on an observation post directing the fighter to its target. Maybe with a bit of an orky trench line perhaps?
