You've already seen them here and there, scattered around in my scenery, but here are some close ups of my Infinity warband, the Haqqislam. I've already got 8 or so games under my belt + a tournie and up until now I like it... A lot. The system of hitting is cool, and you always stay involved in the action, even in your opponents' turn. The basic rules are quite simple to grasp. And then there's a ton of special rules/equipments. Luckily those are automatically added to and printed out in their army builder (which is, just like all of their rules, even the latest, available for free on their website). Somehow the best part is that you can play any tactic with almost every army, some are just better at a certain thing than others, and I don’t re I’ve got around about 300 points now, good for a rather large size of a game My Ghazi Muttawi’ah (granted, Corvus Belli really does go out of it’s way to name your troops in ways you cannot possibly pronounce correctly, let alone remember LOL) A close up on how I did my bases The Hassassin starterbox : A Ghulam warrior Some Odalisques All of them together : Ghulam warriors : And a Tuareg Hacker : A Lasiq Sniper greenstuffed into a Tuareg Both versions next to each-other Mister Beg on his bike Tarik and a Khawarij And finally a Hunzakut. Family picture Two mercenaries : a female Hacker and an Authorised Bounty Hunter : And that’s all for now… Currently painting up a couple of Biker-chicks…

It's a game I'd really like to give a go, but no one plays it currently here. However get over to the Events page and I've put up a thread for games to play at future meets and this is one of them. Cast your vote!

Will do, will do. If you want to learn the game, get the starterbox... 2 gangs, nice scenery and a 6 or so scenarios increading in difficulty taking you along the most important game-mechanics

I was looking for it at the UK Games Expo last weekend, but unfortunately it wasn't there. Might still order it from somewhere though.

Liking the look of those guy's, bet you had a blast painting them. How big a mob you going for, or is that as far as you want to go for now.

They are indeed fun to paint. And their measures are a lot more realistic than the 40K monkeigh... Which makes the finer details difficult sometimes. These will be expanding, definately... I have got a core list I am gettibg really well used to, and I add one or maybe two new figs with specific rules I don’t know yet per game I play. That way I can assimilate the rules bit by bit. Next on the to-buy n try list is a doc with his remote 'orderly' so that my warband 'll die a little slower

Dieing a little bit slower, now that I do like. So ya a "Medic" most deff in order....
Building up a bit at a time, good way to go. Getting used to the rules a bit at a time does make a lot of sense, a lot better then trying to learn it all at the same time.

Thanks for the nice comments! The rules are indeed free, in PDF form; and if you use their army builder, the stats/weapon are automatically included + all unit/fig-specific intel you might need in a game (stats, the orders they generate, skills, …) The rules are here to be more precise : infinitythegame.com/archive.php. Just click on Rulebook and the PDF will open Though I must say, I really like the books, visually; lotsa nice pictures/drawings, layout, …

I do like that more and more companies are giving out their rules for free download. But I know if I like the system I'll get a physical copy

I saw the rulebook for this today- £45!!! And people say GW are expensive! FK I totally understand that... the 40k rulebook is only 5£ cheaper... oh no, wait, its more expensive? And you also need to buy an extra book for your army. Yes, I totally see your point there
