Yeah, nothing like perfect timing! The scale's not bad although the heads are oversized and the helmets are way too big. Technically the feet are too big as well although they look about right on the models. I have a theory that newer sculpts are better in that respect. I don't really have enough of an idea about too many Bolt Action models yet to say for sure, but I am quite happy with the Japanese models. I helped assemble my friend's Americans (which is to say he assembled 17 soldiers and I did 3), and I get the impression that the Japanes heads are smaller and better than the American ones. The perspective on the helmeted head may not be perfect, and I guess you could still slim it down a little*, but compared to the shoulders I think the heads themselves are quite well scaled on these. *Edit: After viewing a couple of WW2 photos I retract that statement. The Japanese helmets seem scaled pretty well, too. Can't wait to see what you do with them. What am I going to do with them? Give them pointy sticks, because it's krumpin' time! Waaagh! Wait, no, Banzai!
