I must get round to reading the tactical objective rules and use them with the cards on my next game, I have heard nothing but good things about them.

No ereader or Idevice here so no data slates for me. Im 1 main rule book (40k 7th) behind and 1 codex behind (orks). Why?? Money and time. No money as Madlyn growing and needs more food than mom can 'produce'. No time as Madlyn is running everywhere. Am I mad?? No. Models dont hug back, blow kisses or say Ozzy. Sold a bunch of my orks stuff on Bartertown and now Im looking at round 2 and making more/deeper cuts. Gonna try for one large GW case. One full size army for me (DA) is all I think I can handle and even that Im not playing with. In time, Ill get back in but for right now Im painting and building the last of me DA collection and Khador stuff. Perhaps I skip 7th??
Jason
PS I think the 40k side may be slowing down. Only a handfull of codexes to go before they are all 6th/7th current.

I have also had a clear out of late and generated a nice pot of funds to re-invest into my hobby times. Its quite therapeutic really.
But yes, tactical objective games are ALL i play. Anyone who refuses is because they have a nasty list that does not work with the random element of the missions. Gun line lists for example no longer work. Death Star lists struggle to capture enough points etc etc.
It is very very good. I urge you all to try it

I think that those cards did "fix" a part of the game, you can get bad cards or good cards, but I feel it makes the game more fun, as you can have a good laugh at how bad your cards where
