Issues I had with GWs MANz were - too small (didn't look like there was enough room in them to fit a nob), no obvious motive power (any ork that could fit in 'em was unlikely to be able to move at all - and what's powering the hydrolix?) and pretty indifferent weapons loadouts (they're nobz fer Gorks sake, if they're going to fit shooty stuff why isn't it at least big shootaz or deff gunz? and why can't mega armoured big meks fit meggablastaz?) Have to see if those tellyporta rumours come good.

Well, I'll gladly take all those improvements you list there, especially the extra dakka. I wish GW moved away from making them poor man's Terminator lookalikes and just let them be what they are meant to be: flashy armor that makes the Nob better than any Ork without it. I certainly wouldn't mind if tellyporta tech made it into the codex. Not that I'd allow you peasants to take it. Dat's proppa Bad Moon stuff, ya gitz.

so Geifer what your saying is....you wish GW would put the ork back into the orks. Rather than the comic criminal take that they are what happens when a female inquisitor and a space marine get together.

I'm... not sure that's what I'm saying. But oh, whatever, that Inquisitor/Marine get together sounds like something I can approve of, so ok, I'm probably saying that. Maybe. As long as what I'm saying is that Orks should be customizable because an Ork follows its own whims instead of any military structure or code, generally speaking, I'm happy with what I'm saying. It's probably not going to happen because GW has adopted this perverse stance that even if you could kitbash stuff from several of their kits to get an option, they generally stick with only allowing what is on the plastic sprue. But let's wait for the codex to drop, as long as I get substantial options on key units, I'm going to be happy. If not, I'll wait for the next Ork codex, or the demise of GW. Whichever comes first. I'm confident, though. For me the codex is already a success because I just painted more Orks in two days than I did in the twenty years before that.

A dream. A fairly basic suit of 'mega armour' with a sprue full of weapons, cables, spikes, glyph plates and gubbinz to make it yours.

Sounds like the sort of thing that forge world could make a decent job of
