Very nice! Your conversion work on the vehicles looks extremely precise, how do you cut the plastic-card?

Measure, score with a scalpel and snap.
Straight lines are no problem. Curves are more awkward so I use a hole cutter which is like a pair of compasses but instead of a pencil, there is a blade there.

It's got to a point where I am going to end up messing them up because I am bored with them so, as far as they are concerned, the tank and transport are finished for now: The tape holding the top of the tank on and the sideskirts on the transport on, is just temporary because I will need things to be removable for painting .

I like them*. *Well, except for the skirts. I only like the full Panzer III/IV design. Anything else just mars the inherent prettiness of German tanks.

I have to put skirts on them because of the way the tracks join together. I have effectively had to stitch them together because I have shortened rubber tracks . The skirts cover the nasty looking joins .

Truthfully, I really liked the plain dome helmets. They made them look like astronauts. Sad to see them go. I have to put skirts on them because of the way the tracks join together. I have effectively had to stitch them together because I have shortened rubber tracks . The skirts cover the nasty looking joins . Well, I'm certainly not criticizing the solution to an obvious problem. More stating personal preference. I couldn't even tell you why, but the octagonal skirts of a Panzer IV or Stug III simply fit the design perfectly. I never cared for the slim rectangular ones the Panzer V got.

Cheers ... it's likely to be reptilian but more scaly like a lizard, rather than a snake
