I agree! And very nice how you approached the scratch-building of the lasgun-array (or whatever the guns on the back are called nowadays). I will likely be a lot more lazy with my alternative Chimeras...

In order to create a full review, I have fitted the legs to all of the torsos from the Tartaros terminator sprues and am in the process of building my little Wolverine unit. Here is where I am at so far : The white balls are 8mm acrylic beads.

Cheers I have got three more of the Hanomag kits now. This particular one is my 'see how things go' version (which will end up as the company command vehicle). It has enabled me to work out sized etc and how to assemble the kit without wasting plasticard (I have used too much on this one but it has taught me where I can save resources on the next ones). Things I will be changing on the next ones: 1) Internal bracing is not required. 2) Sand down the gun mounting area to save a layer on the roof. 3) Push the 'windscreen' panel further forward to increase cabin space. 4) Have a flat roof all the way across (rather than a slope at the front) so that the turret can be pushed forward as well. 5) Cast the turret so that they are all the same. To highlight on what Manus was saying on his thread... making mistakes is part of the process and as long as there is some learning/advantage to be gained then it is worth making those mistakes

It's been a slow week but I am getting the details put on the Hanomag Pattern Chimera. I've added hatches, a few details to the turret and the start of the front detail. Ticking along... :
