I don't think he build this intentionally ... ... I think he just kept his Nids (and appararently a couple of BA) in a large bucket, and accidently pushed a bottle of glue in it (we know these things happen). There was nothing else he could than just paint it as one big model.

To most it would be a look of horror and to the special 1% it's a starting point for something very special.

That's a similar technique to how I built my Ork army- box full of bitz+ glue= instant army FK
