Recently our local GWS manager had a clear-out of all the old broken and "bits missing" scenery from the store, and donated it all to our club (via me) to see what I could make of it. Some of you may have already seen some of what I've done if you have access to the Watford Wargames FB page (not sure if it's public or private!) For the rest of you here's what I've been doing. There was a broken up WFB Wizards Tower which was missing a complete wall section, i.e. 1/4 of the tower, so I had to plasticard something to fit. Here's what it looked like out of the Bitz Box: Here's it assembled with the plasticard walls. And here's the finished articel fully based and re-painted as needed: Next was an old broken up Watchtower, although all the pieces of the tower were there they needed re-assembling, basing and retouching paint wise. Here's what it ended up as: I'm currently creating a ruined graveyard from the following bits, finished pictures will be uploaded when it's done, possibly next week if I don;t get time tomorrow: C&C welcome HG

You are skilled at this recycling lark aren't you? Wish our local G-Dub bloke did the same thing - would help the rest of us out hugely. He's building a display board and has hundreds of Cities of Death sprues left over as 'lost stock' but refuses to part with any of them, the tight sod.

I think I prefer your wall section on the wizards tower to the official ones - Judas Priest's dressing room hasn't got that many skulls hanging off the walls! Still, can't complain too loudly for freebies

James, Larry is an active and regular member of our club and we are re-joining the GCN soon so he's completely on-board with us. Helps to be part of a club/GWS shop team eh? Not that we are that linked, just in the same town! LOL @ Badfang.

Great job fixing the tower. And now I'm envious because yours is fully painted and mine is not.

LOL stand by to be even more envious mate! Next scenery piece is a ruined cemetery/graveyard, it's about 75% finished as of now, just waiting for the PVA/sand to dry out before continuing. Here's some pics ... out in the sunshine! There are quite a few broken bits, including a missing Death's scythe, but its a ruin so who cares! LOL The base is about 11" x 11" so quite a large piece to be honest. C&C welcome as always. HG

Really hating those trees, they've got to be the most misbegotten plasticky looking lumps of plastic GW have ever produced In other news you're working wonders with the rest

Great work on the first tower. I think you have to know or otherwise you wouldn't guess there's a complete plasticard wall section part of the tower. Thumbs up! Great guy by the way for donating your club this stuff.
