I do not have the book...yet??
I have an itchin to build some models and Im looking at the Masters of the Chapter. I should have enough bits to build them but I do not know what war gear they have. Can anyone please provide insight to this? I know in APOC 1.0, the war gear was not listed but it was mentioned and GW did make specific models for the Masters.
So the SWC dosent get in trouble by the GW police, do not go into rules/stat information. That information I will get once I get the book.
Thanks,
Jason

In the meantime GW has released a couple more Captains, which is reflected in the new Master of the Chapter Formation. In addition to the Chapter Master and his optional Honor Guard, you can choose from anywhere between four to ten Captains. The only requirement is that they are from the same chapter. Their wargear is in no way prescribed, nor described in the background text. You're free to equip them as you please.

Well, it is posted as 'traditional' that the Master of the Fleet carries a thunder hammer to represent the firepower under his command and I can't imagine the Captain of the Assault company (Lord Executioner) with a bolter.....

Thank you for the information! Now I can get high from glue fumes..... No problem. I'm always happy to help people get high. Well, it is posted as 'traditional' that the Master of the Fleet carries a thunder hammer to represent the firepower under his command and I can't imagine the Captain of the Assault company (Lord Executioner) with a bolter..... True. Some wargear combinations make more sense than others. I'm a huge fan of customization and individualization, however, so I'm happy that such combinations are restricted to the background and, as such, examples of official chapters. I like that the rules let the player decide wha they want. It's one of the things where I can't help but applaude GW for going in that direction again after doing away with the armory system mid 4th ed.

I have to agree, not being regimented in this matter means that any chapter can use it rather than it not suiting some.
