Oh, look! A picture: After thinking about it for some time, I've come to the conclusion that I'm not terribly happy with the brown of the stone. Looked off to me. So I drybrushed it Charadon Granite and I'm a lot happier with it now. I think. At any rate, I'm happy enough to leave the base be and give the tower a go with the colors I have now. Edit: You know what? New page, so I'll repost the previous picture for direct comparison:

Well, my mediocre photography skills might have something to do with that. I don't know what it is, but I just can's snap a good picture of it. But I would like to point your attention to the greenish grayish granite dots applied to the formerly mostly brown rock, say of the stairs. It's not an awfully big difference. In fact the very point is to mute the brown down a bit and make it less obvious.
