So GW put all the new nid models up for presell. Dont play them. Anyone wanna do an office pool and pick a date when the FAQ/erratta/Amements will be out??

Last few releases have shown that they're getting better at it - I figure within the first 3 days.

I think the response GW got to putting out an errata a week before the Eldar codex was even released wasn't fabulous. I think they've been more cautious, so I'm going to rule out before or on release day. Shortly after, then. Hmm. Monday, or Tuesday. I say Monday.

I would have boxed it all up and sent it to them. One thing a few days after the book come out but before its even out?? Total BS on an epic level. And the not epic as in GW small scale warfare.....

I actually think releasing FAQs so quick is a good thing.
Better to have answers than to stay with questions. It is not that weird that a game with a big rulebook and 15 armybooks needs some clarifications on how some rules affect eachother. And a new rulebook means an errata is needed for the older armybooks. A lot of questions answered are actually not that hard to answer yourself anyway.
I think it is a good thing.

I think people would like GW to get the glaring mistakes right in the first place. It's not that sorting out ambiguities is causes all that many complaints, but that things which professional proof reading should keep out of the finished, expensive product are in fact not kept out of the finished, expensive product. I'm not actually sure GW is doing so well with FAQs anymore as they did around a year ago. We got good answers for the span of a year, give or take, but I'm not sure that's kept up recently. Yes, the errata bits of the FAQs come quickly, but the actual FAQ parts do not. I did not hear this. They are lucky I dont play Eldar. I would have boxed it all up and sent it to them. One thing a few days after the book come out but before its even out?? Total BS on an epic level. And the not epic as in GW small scale warfare..... They got the template size for one of the monofilament spinner weapons wrong and the FAQ went up on the day of pre-order, which is the Saturday before the Saturday of release. It was the only item fixed in the document.

I have no issues with FAQ when it looks at the big rule books. My problem is in the army codexes it self. We pay $50 for a book and when it has all sorts of simply mistake its stupid. When they put in 2 different stat lines it makes you think who running the ship.
