Righto, I'd better make a start on mine. Got a load of ogre stuff sat in boxes so ill be using my allowance to "buy" the units as we go.
As for scenery, well ogres like food so I'm thinking of a fire with a spit roast animal sort of affair.
Here's the plan
Jan. Lead belchers. £23.00. Carry £7 Feb. 8 Bulls. £30.00. Carry £7 Mar. Gorger. £15.50 Carry £21.50 Apr. 8 Iron guts. £46.00 Carry £5.50 May. Ironblaster £20.50 Carry £15 Jun. Firebelly. £23.50 Carry £21.50 Jul. Maneaters £46.50 Carry £5 Aug. Butcher. £23.50 Carry £11.50 Sep. Slaughtermaster. £23.50. Carry £18.00 Oct. 4 Mournfang Cavalry. £46.00. Carry £2 Nov. Thundertusk. £36.00.
£4 in the red. Army complete

Cool idea but I heard the words 'ogres' and 'spit roast' and the scenery piece looked very different in my head FK

Never heard those words used in a dirty manner - what would they mean? It would be better for your sanity not to know this information....

Back on topic, not had much chance to get anything done. We're 2 people down at work so I've been picking up overtime like a man possessed. Now got this weekend off and that's it for the rest of the month including a weeks course in Germany.
Hopefully I can take the ogres out there but something tells me the lure of warsteiner might be too strong to resist.
Long and short of it, my start to ToSwc gamers might not be the best. Hey ho

I hear people can play wargames and drink beer at the same time. Perhaps you want to give it a try, you know, purely for scientific reasons.

I tried your theory last night buddy. Got the skin done on the lead belchers. Clothes and boots today, cannons tomorrow and then bases and dirty them up a bit and bobs your uncle

Me and a friend tried this about 10 years back, we got horribly drunk and played my Eldar vs his space wolves in his house one evening. We were drunk enough to go with `authentic night fighting conditions` and played for about 10 minutes with the lights off FK
