I'm just gutted that Chaos can't use an IG superheavy with marines..... It's where they draw the line, apparently. Tyranids can't ally with anyone, yet there are so many people who would use Imperial Guard combined with Tyranids to play a Genestealer Cult. In Apocalypse? No problem, anything goes. In normal games? We get a strict no from the allies matrix. Seems like GW want to keep normal games within their chosen allies matrix and so super heavies are strictly for the army they are meant for (going by their default kit). That's what I assume anyway. Anyone read the Escalation rules with regard to how they interact with allied detachments? And how super heavies are classed when it comes to transporting models from different detachments?

If someone was using the 'uber list' where I was playing and using it only to win their games, I might just have to bring out all the Wolves on them. Not sure many would like seeing that many Wolves coming at them....
