Also known as Deadzone! I've built the models from the box The Plague Containment Protocol active!

Yet to build are the scenery boxes, thinking I will glue them together after seeing the trouble a guy at our club had last night.
Also I've got an idea on painting scheme for the Enforcers, mostly black with red hints and red blades/eyes. Want them to look evil!
However I'm going round in circles for how to paint the Plague, so not decided.

Spent some time last night putting sand on the Enforcer's bases. So when I undercoat them, hopefully tonight, the same will be done too. This is since I'll be giving them an urban base like tarmac and rubble.

Good luck with this. I am contemplating picking up DZCP but it's being pitched off against dropzone commander too. Dzcp has the advantage that i like the looks of a fair few of the models and especially love the Marauder suits.

Yeah, they're awesome kits! I too have been bitten by the DZC bug, specially after playing my first game! But since Zog is my plastic crack supplier now I have to wait till he's able to get any in the store... Means I can paint these guys for a start!

So wanting to start at least the Enforcer captain tonight (he's bigger and there fore, in my mind, easier for my paint plan). Also going to try and remember to take stage pictures. Mainly for you guys, as well as for me to do the rest!

Collected some Marauders yesterday f rom everyones favourite toy soldier shop and been trying to assemble them since. Noticed in one of your pix there is a Revell Contacta applicator, I tried using that on them and, when that failed, the same stuff out of a tube - still no stick. In short, what glue are you using on them?

In short, what glue are you using on them? Super glue mate! The stuff they're made out of is restik, a sort of resin plastic. So basically the only thing that will work is super glue, I did mine with the thick kind as it just gloops and holds while they dry. Zog cheats and has the activator spray which basically jumps straight to the drying phase quicker.

I glued my dreadball team with the revell plastic glue that can been seen in your first post here. Don't know what the deadzone is made of.

Hope those of you with a starter set or enforcers crew have luck with the mould line of the captains cape. By all accounts and from seeing it online, it looks a complete total and utter pig.

Yeah I'm struggling with that now... Plus I've just discovered that since I kept it separate to paint it now doesn't fit after doing his base...

Stage 1 of Enforcer Captain, armour done. The photo doesn't show the red as much as real life, but it is that dark with just a hint on the highlight. Pretty much what I was hoping for

Is that a mould line down his right arm mate? Do these minis have an issue with these?
