More zombies on their way - I will have to dip another batch very soon, but I'm hoping to finish off two abominations first. Here's what I got so far: Obviously the last toxic isn't ready for dipping yet, but he will soon be. I just love these minis - and it's great to do something that's quite fast.

Fine stuff - I really understand the bit about fast, as I really enjoy the Inq28 models - just one to paint at the time, it takes no time - it's really crazy

Ok, another batch done - but I'm not happy. I ended up giving them too much varnish, so now they are quite dull and dusty. 28 minis! Well, those things happen, and I guess I learned my lesson. I won't tire you with everything, but just give you two shots. First my abominations: And then, because Manus was sarcastic, a collage of the steps in the painting process: painting WIP, painting finished, dipped, and varnished (with a little extra blood added afterwards)

Me sarcastic? Don't even know what that means!! These are looking brilliant to me - not dull or greyed up. Bring 'em over and let's kill 'em!!

Ok, so where is all this heading? Into battle, of course! So here's a couple of shots from a game I had with a friend on Friday. This is from the end game where we are trying to lure an A-bomb Abomination into a hole in a damaged building. In the first shot you see the first survivors to arrive near the hole, Tiff obviously worried by the heavy tread of the approaching Abomination outside the frame. Note how the two fatties have already tumbled into the hole in an attempt to get to Uncle Honk and silence his annoying horn (he has the awesome skill Taunt) And here's a picture from the last round of the game - Tiff and Maddie are surrounded by nasties, but due to their awesome combat skills, they'll actually slaughter the whole bunch in a second. Then, Uncle Honk will move into their space and by honking his horn, he will draw the A-bomb Abomination (in the background) into the hole, thus winning us the game. Hooray! Sorry about the colours - I tried to compensate in my editing program but with limited luck.
