Finished (kinda)! Tennantus ready for battle I don't have any Word Bearer transfers with me, so I plan on adding a few to him. I may go over the tentacles again when I get more time. They look better from behind than they do from the front. I want to add some blood from the bursting pipes. So where the skin has been torn from the pipes coming through, I'd like to add small amounts of blood to it. I want it to look like every day existence is painful for this guy, every move and such causes fresh new wounds! Anyway, there you go, C+C always welcome

Cheers Garfy! Did a quick cultist the other night. I wanted to play about with a few different techniques on painting flesh and stuff so though I would give it a go. Basically it didn't take me very long and wanted to see what the end result looked like. Seems okay, not amazing or anything but okay.

I just got a pot of that new blood effect so I took the time to add it to the parts of the dread I wanted to add it to. Some of it hasn't worked as well as I would like (and will be cleaned up when I get time) but other parts have worked really well. On the exposed pipe parts the blood looks like its being forced out. But I especially like the spine. I'm pretty new to doing things like blood effects, so i think there is probably a much more effective way to do it, but i think its more a style issue than a technical one.

I agree it has improved the spine. What's up next by the way?

14 more cultists! I also have my WIP landraider at hand to keep converting. So assuming I get the cultists done I will crack on with the Landraider. That need a LOT of green stuff work, so it will be an intermittent project. Will need to let the green stuff dry each day before doing more etc etc!

I've seen pics of people using that GW blood mixed with PVA glue to make it extra yucky, looks really good!
