I'm making a few bikers from space marines and i ran into a little snag. I'm frequently using magnets to allow options. The snag is the special weapons. I would like to have the option to display plasma or melta weaponry when the need arises. For that i can think of 3 options - with magnets making it so that they wear the gun like the standard marine does. (makes for a lousy pose
- one handed true grit style, but that needs heavier magnets and room.
- permanent and having more model. ( which is kinda silly)
who know of other (easy) solutions? T.

Well a lot of the books now talk about marines "magna clamping" weapons to thighs and things. I've done my Chaos with boltguns attached to backpacks as well. Either of those could work with magnets.

That's a good idea Paul, you could glue a magnet to the side of the special weapon and another to the side of the bike (don't they have stowage/ equipment at the back behind the rider? That would be a good spot) then the model is easily wysiwyg without trying to magnetise wrists or worry about silly poses! The rider can be given the badass pose of your choice and the chosen weapon stowed on the bike.
