Why not use the £ prices to work from budget wise? I'm using a lot of old models which didn't cost anywhere near current prices. However I'm just working out what would be the equivalent value and using the current UK prices. Because then I would have to look up the £ prices everytime before I buy something new. Lol ... Make an army list and do what I did in my thread. Stick the prices at the beginning of your thread then rather than having to go onto the GWS website you can just look on your thread.

On this day £30 would be worth about €35, but as GW doesn't really care about current ratings, a box of £30 Warhammer costs €40. So would it be okay to get a €40 budget for us EURO people so we can buy as much as you guys? I'll sign up for this as well: Dwarfs. One question though. You can receive points for building and for painting models. Are these cumulative or one-or-the-other? In case they are one-or-the-other, what happens if you finish the unit one month later? Do you still get the painting points (and then lose the building points)? Yeah the pricing sounds alright to me, must admit didn't realise the pricing was so different in other countries! Again, the price limit is just so that everyone has a similar goal each month. The points are for that month only, as each month you should say what you're going to get and paint up. So if the first month you completely paint a Lord of Horse, for example, you'll get the 5 points, but if the next month you only partially paint a regiment you get 3. The following month when you finish off that unit you won't get the points for that. The points system is there to motivate you in comparison to the others as well as seeing what units you can get done in the time. I'll sign you up too!

I'm laying down a challenge to all you Tale of Fantasy Gamers
As well as your allocation per month how about you make up one piece of scenery (themed to your army) per month. It doesn't have to be big just a bit of scenery, one per month no Price set (lets face it you can build it from junk)
If you guys accept i'll look into getting a piece of scenery built or bought for the winner of the scenery bit of this challenge.
What say yooze Guys?

Making themed scenery is a good way of adding a bit of variety to the painting scheme. Might have to switch between the armies each month for the scenery side of things as I'll be doing Goblins and Undead armies each month. Adding 2 sets of scenery to the mix might push it a bit too far unless I get my Painting Mojo back big time.

I was thinking something similar as well. Although don't I could do one a month, unless it's a tree. But I was already thinking of making a pyramid and a river for my 4'x4' board.

I'm thinking of doing a river or lava flow as well. Maybe we should have a river-off over 2 months or something?

I'm not sure... I know some more research will have to be done before I even try and start modelling it.

Tenochtitlan, the Aztec capitol was built on an island in a lake. They had loads of reed rafts that they used to grow crops on and they were tied together giving the impression of canals. I think they still use them too. More here.

running about trying to avoid looking at the boxed set of ogres i already had. Trying not to go gibbly and actually wanting to paint. What is wrong with me.
Oh and being off this week aint helping a bit. Hence i have so far played dreadfleet and dystopian wars. Can see more distractive wargaming ahead.

I'm pulling the Undead out of the running. Having child number 3 on the way means I'm just being silly wanting to double up.
