Oh boy, Warre & Nils were very pleased when they discovered the box. And even more when they saw the painted contents. We played the introductory game yesterday evening (didn't quite finish it yet). Here's where we are at now : Our survivors are on the bottom-right. We need to exit through the yellow rectangle marked 'Exit' (duh) But there's tons of Zombies in the way, including an Abominition, against whom we don't have a weapon yet that's strong enough to even start to hurt him... So I think we'll have to walk around the building, luring the Zombies behind us; maybe even get in a car and start driving over them instead of shooting/hacking/slashing our way through. The main problem will be the Zombies in the basketball court though... At the moment they are bunched behind a closed door, which we need to open to get out... And there's already three Fattys behind that door... In any case, the game really reflects the feeling of hopelessness you get in Zombie flicks. Those Zombies really are everywhere, and they just keep on coming! Oh, and Nils, my youngest son? I think he's inherited his fathers' luck with the dice. Come on boy, roll three dice... Every 3+ kills a Zombie... OK, so we didn't kill any Zombies... No biggie, you can roll again for your second action, we'll get them... OK, so triple 1 eh?... Run boy, run!!!

Now that look`s like a lot of fun, but a bunch of "Zombies" will be just like a walk in the park mate .......and as for inheriting his dad`s luck with dice, well done Nice painted horde you`ve got there, like the way you`ve bought them all together mate. Think i`ll have a look into this game, would`t mind having a game or two myself. Would you say it`s worth the price ??

Worth the price?
Gameswise can't tell yet with only one demo plus one starter scenario under my belt.
Figswise... hell yeah! There's 90 figs in a 100€ box... that's 1.10€ per fig, not even counting the counters, dice, double sided gaming tiles nor the rules.
Granted the figs aren't up to par with eg GWS quality but at that price the quality and the details are stunning.

So a 100 euros, that`s about £74 English. Not a bad price for what you get in the box, time to start saving...............

Looking good. Really like the way you've paint red them.
Finding it cheaper the day after you buy it always happens to me as well. Just one of those ... Doh ... Moments.

That is typical.........
But I sometimes find it cheaper first time, only to have someone I know say to me a few days later........you could of had mine for nothing (what a muppet) but on the bright side i take it of them anyway. So win win for me.
