I'm certainly going to pinch the gold technique for my upcoming lizardmen, thanks The OSL and NMM will need a lot of practice I fear...

Actually would you be able to split the OSL part up? As you've clumped it into just one or two steps, for in the description is a five or six step procedure. I just can't tell which bits you've basecoated and which have had the glaze applied.

That is groovy... nice work Where'd you get all those Scarabs? Tesseract Vault. There are two sizes in the kit. 20 of each size. Both sizes are smaller then the usual scarabs found in the warrior set.

Nice G-man, real nice. You did a cracking job on my favourite Necron unit (the Walker)
Also liking the pose of the new dude, especially how he seems to be holding the whole thing between finger and thumb. A very strong statement of power.
Bob's right. We need a HG army shot

It looks great (as usual) but what is the logic behind the model? I understand that scarabs eat people but why are the scarabs `flowing` out of the Necron's hand upwards with a person amongst them? What I'm trying to say is why is the skeleton in the air being eaten? Is there a fluff reason for it?

Or what is the item that makes you hit yourself? Or are those two different thngs? Makes you wonder if my answer on your question is actually an answer or rather a question itself. ... EDIT: Looks really cool by the way Gareth.

Pretty. Isn't their a wargear item that you can give to lords that releases scarabs? Or what is the item that makes you hit yourself? Or are those two different thngs? That's mindshackle scarabs, and they are rather tiny in order to fit into people's skulls. They also exclusively take people over instead o eating them The Forgeworld Necron list has flensing scarabs that I imagine pretty much do what Garfy's scarabs do. Get released, eat people. Realistically scarabs come in all sizes and have all manner of applications depending on what they were created for. Necrons can also manipulate space to make a Carnifex fit into a box the size of a fist. I think Garfy's Lord is a pretty cool representation of these kinds of things.
