Right, I have in my possession a Shadowsword hull that I've had kicking around the place for many years after an impulse buy on Ebay, it is assembled to some extent but is literally a hulk - the main citadel has no gun and the side sponsons are missing.... To render this thing into something meaningful (and to give me something to practice weathering on) I need to restore it to greatness, which is where you lot come in. I need suggestions for a weapon fit for this thing using either Imperium or Chaos firepower. Standard load outs as in Escalation are interesting but not necessarily important as I might not use it as a game piece. Need some kind of main weapon, sponson side weapons and sponson turret guns. It'll be World Eaters, pre-Heresy in paintjob which means blue and white goodness shall abound. So, your ideas: advance one and be recognised!

Storm Lord.
Carries loads of frothing nutters with a great big gun on the front that shreds anything with a power armour save or worse

YOu know what - the coolest weapon now a days, in the past and in the future will always be assaultcannons/gatlingguns. Make a big dobbelbarrel one as main weapon, a turret mounted smaller one and the sponsons should be some sort of hullmounted gyro with a seat and a cannon - I dare you to come close enough.......

Oh, fear not, a Stormlord will appear one day, but not just yet. The citadel of this thing has been glued as far back as it will go with bloody Araldite or something similar, it just won't shift....

Pft. If you want a real hardcore Khorne model you'll play it as a Lord of Skulls and fit the Stompa chain blade into the casemate. No need to bother with sponsons, and whatever secondary weaponry you choose (skull mortar is a choice, isn't it? Skull mortar sounds metal, I'd go with that) could easily be fitted onto the roof or into the hull where the twin-linked heavy bolters go.

The Stompa chainblade is disappointingly, ridiculously weedy......

Show a pic so we get motivation off it Okay-dokey, this is what I have: Like I said, essentially a blank canvas. I did think of using the Chapterhouse Land Raider kit for the side sponsons; the length might be different, but the width is exactly the same as the normal ones.... just what to put in them?

I know, indeed, which is why I'm not! Well, not ... yet.
Citadel gun is decided, it's going to be my version of FW's new Falchion, so it'll be twin barrels of Volcano Cannon goodness, with either a storm bolter or heavy bolter for a cupola pintle mount.
Still undecided on the sponsons, though - FW have them as a quad Lascannon a side, but I think it needs more anti-infantry than that - suggestions?
