How the hell have i managed to miss this thread ................ Now i have found it i not losing it, or they`ll be happening. Liking what you have done with the guy`s and wolves so far mate, not got any yet but will do at some point. Over all a good start and one i hope to follow when i get to dig my wolves out, once i have stopped with my Chaos Warriors (prob be about 2k of points). But then again i have other stuff to sort first........ Nice work with the wolves, keep up with the good work. Doom....

Lovely, very nicely done. Liking the standard Max, and very nice work on the flag..........
Noticed the standard has "Runes" on his armour, to me they look a little dull. I think a slightly darker shading in the groves would bring them out and make the figure stand out a little more.
It's just an idea Max, the standard looks great as he is.........
Doom....

As Doom says, standard looks ace Noticed the standard has "Runes" on his armour, to me they look a little dull. I think a slightly darker shading in the groves would bring them out and make the figure stand out a little more. I haven't tried this myself (and I certainly wouldn't advise trying out on a finished mini ) but if you thinned gold acrylic with floor/window polish (Johnsons' Klear used to be the 'go to') and dribbled it into a pre-shaded recess it might just pick up the rune a bit better, it'd have to be done one rune at a time to get gravity to settle the stuff in the bottom of the rune but if you have any more lying around unpainted it might be worth giving it a go?
