This will initially be a kill team with progression into a full army when time allows. I hope to start painting the first model in the squad tomorrow (well technically today actually) and have this as my colour inspiration, no bright shiny pink and purple for my Slaaneshi lunatics I'm hoping to get a kind of "my armour is made out of warp tainted fleshy stuffs" kind of look... I'm hoping to get a kind of "my armour is made out of warp tainted fleshy stuffs" kind of look... I like that. I wish GW released more Chaos Marines like the ones from the starter set. That look's the real deal. Are you doing anything like that and then combined with the slim waists from those pictures? Let's see those pretty Slaaneshis.  |

I reckon that a bit of kit bashing between standard plastic Chaos marines and Dark Eldar witches would create some cool Emperor's Children.
A bit of mix and match with weapons wouldn't go amis either.

How about a bit of mixing chaos and dark Eldar scourge sprues?  Not going with the skinny waists I don't think, I've seen it done and, while I applaud the guy who did it for his bravery, it just didn't look quite right a skinny waist and power armoured legs. I'll keep it as an option for a future squad though (possessed most likely) |

I was thinking: legs/abdomen/arms of Dark elf Chest/backplate/backpack/shoulder-guards of Chaos Marine Weapons a mix of Dark Eldar and Chaos Marine. Head from wherever... maybe puppetswar or maybe the Chaos mutations sprue? Blend together with a bit of green stuff. puppetswar.eu/category.php?id_category=197 |

I started basecoating the first guy today (before a call from work to come in and do some overtime due to lack of staff!) so didn't get as much done as I hoped to. I will get some pics tomorrow of where I am up to.

Yuck. Your Citadel Finecork is full of bubbles. I hope you'll take them back to GW to get replacements. What? Your post is about the model? Nice color. No neon pink, but definitely says Slaanesh. Good start.

I was looking through the kill team rules the other day. I can't quite make out if you are to take a full squad of ....whatever from the armybooks, seems like you'll never get much diversity for so few points?
