Yeah. The suction feed is a paperweight and not much use for anything else. The gravity one is good for the price though

They still do a deal there. £82.50 I think for the 2 airbrush and tank compressor. I have since upgraded mine, and handed my old stuff to a friend in trade, its still going strong many years on.

It's a robust little kit definitely. Mine has moved house 4 times and still firing on its one little cylinder.

I'm so frustrated with airbrushes, I have that compressor from a couple years back and last year I bought an Iwata Neo airbrush (around £46 I think it was) I basecoated 15 grey knight models (commission work) and did a nice blue power sword effect on the dreadknight's sword (so easy to do!) then the brush just packed in- I tried everything, stripped it, cleaned it, watched every youtube `fix your airbrush` tutorial I could find and nothing worked, nothing at all so I am left with an airbrush that's only use now is to make pretty bubbles flow back into the paint chamber FK

That's a blockage. Send it down. I have a sonic cleaner that might shift whatever is in there.

Sounds like its the flow nozzle head thats blocked. Thats the final little bit that the needle goes through. Its the most expensive part on an AB and the most common to be blocked. You need to be exceptionally careful to remove and clean that part. Its what always goes on mine…and requires a special little tool to clean it (or carefully with your existing needle.

Yeah that's the tiny little thing I thought had gone wrong, I have cleaned it with AB cleaner and also with a spare AB needle all to no effect but thanks for the suggestion though Nick, gonna send the Iwata to Stretch maybe he can work some magic on it Anyways, that's the thread hijacked enough I want to see some painted Mymeara pics please! Been a bit quiet but I got a few bits done while I've been at work. The eldar were lacking in AA so a squadron if flakk missile toting war walkers are in build.
Also got another droppod in the build stage.

I'm hoping for a bit of help. I'm thinking of doing something a bit different with my second wraithknight in the way he's posed. Nothing ridiculous. He still needs to look like a wraithknight when he's finished but im lacking in inspiration. There's not much out there in Google foo to help either. I'm arming him with the 2 heavy wraith cannons. The other guy has the sun cannon and shield
So....
Help me swc kinobi. You're my only hope

I'm back on nights overtime tonight mate and then I'm in Farnborough for another job interview tomorrow. I've been trying to wet blend but it's a skill that's eluding me so far.
Progress is small but I'll post pics Friday night and let you judge for yourselves
